THE iCSI COIN LESSON
Blockchain in a Box is a hands-on lesson where students don't just read about cryptocurrency — they run it. Each student launches a real iCSI Coin node that works on the same principles as Bitcoin:
- ▸ Peer-to-Peer Discovery: nodes find each other on their own and pass along blocks and transactions.
- ▸ Proof-of-Work: real cryptographic mining keeps the network secure.
- ▸ Decentralized Ledger: every node keeps its own copy of the chain, so no one controls the data.
Over four guided labs, students go from Bitcoin basics and generating their own wallet keys to mining coins, sending transactions, and digging into raw block data, with instructor checkpoints along the way.

▶ What happens next
The installer starts an iCSI Coin node in a Docker container on port 8080. When it finishes, open:
http://localhost:8080Then create your admin login and start testing: make a wallet, mine coins, and send a transaction.
